Rain Policy

If it is raining, or there is a threat of rain, we will make every effort to proceed with the practice. Wee are required to pay for facilities regardless of weather conditions, so avoiding cancellations helps us keep programs affordable.

We have also found that practices can still be safe, effective, and enjoyable in light or intermittent rain, provided participants are dressed appropriately. However, if the rain becomes steady or heavy, or there are other dangerous conditions (e.g., lightning) we may need to cancel or postpone the session. 

Cancellation Process & Notifications

A decision on whether a class will proceed will be made at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time. Any cancellations will be posted in the Today's Updates on Cancelled Classes section below. If you are unsure, please check that section before heading to the court and if no cancellation is indicated you can assume that the class is proceeding.  You may also use your own discretion to go to the court ahead of that time if  the weather looks to be playable. 

Please note that decisions are made for each individual class. Even if an earlier class has been cancelled, be sure to check whether your specific class is still running by referring to the Todays Updates On Cancelled Classes

Make Up Classes & Credits

In the case of rain cancellations, you will be offered the opportunity to attend make-up classes on the weekend following the completion of the Spring program. You may also be offered opportunities to make up missed classes during your present program, or during a subsequent program, subject to availability. If neither option is possible, you will be provided with equivalent credits toward future programs.
