No, that was not a typo. In collaboration with Tennis Canada--the national sanctioning body for the sport-- we are offering a free 4 week tennis program for kids residing in the downtown Toronto area. We are even providing the racquets!
The classes are on the following consecutive Sundays:
1. April 12
2. April 18
3. April 26
4. May 3
Finding The Right Group For Your Child
Kids are organized into class groups on these dates according to age and skill level as shown below.
While we indicate an age range for these stages as a general guide, please keep in mind that it is highly individual specific. A child will be at a different stage depending upon a number of factors including their physique and experience with tennis and other sports.
Please make your best estimation of which class you think they would fit in and we can then assess them during the first class to see if it is most appropriate.
Location
The classes are located on the outdoor tennis courts at Harbord Collegiate Institute which is in the Palmerston-Little Italy-Annex neighbourhood of downtown Toronto. The school is at the corner of Harbord Street and Euclid Avenue and the courts are alongside of Euclid Avenue at the rear of the school.
